The evaluation board uses PN532 highly integrated contactless reader chip, which contains 80C51 microcontroller core (8051 users can not access its
programming, it is used the built-in NFC underlying communication protocol stack), integrated with 13.56MHz various active / passive contactless communication methods and protocols.
PN532 transmission module supports 6 different operating modes:
A: read-write mode, supports ISO / IEC 14443A / MIFARE? mechanism
B: reader mode ,supports FeliCa mechanisms
C: read-write mode, supports ISO / IEC 14443B mechanism
D: card operating mode, supports ISO 14443A / MIFARE? mechanism
E: card operation mode, supports FeliCa mechanism
F: ISO/IEC18092, ECM340 point to point
Based on the above advantages, PN532 evaluation board provides below hardware and software:
